Rafa Rampant in Australia

Having seen Roger Federer tested in his second round match, everyone was wondering how Nadal’s would turn out. Well, no such difficulties for the world number 1; Nadal beat US qualifier Ryan Sweeting aside, taking the match 6-2 6-1 6-1.

I didn’t get a chance to actually watch the match, my alarm going off at 1.30am was greeted with a sigh of “nah” before I rolled over and fell straight back to sleep, so I can’t give a full analysis of the match. By all accounts it was a white wash for the Spaniard. But since no match report is forthcoming (from me anyway), here’s an awesome picture of Rafa - 

Nadal will now face the Australian teenager, Bernard Tomic, in the next round. Didn’t they meet at this sort of stage last year? Or was that Tomic and Cillic or something?
